Our Democratic Secular country!!!

What a farce...secular government..democracy...in the interest of the people..
all those khadi clad morons have left no stone unturned in trying to make sure that India will take a couple of steps backward instead of being more competitive..
what a bunch of cowards.. not one has the guts to come out & say that this whole reservation is a big mess.. why can't we have somebody at the helm who can bring in better resolutions..
How is reservation going to make a difference? Why can't we have better infrastructure & try to help the people who deserve it..
The easier path is not necessarily the best path.. why can't there be enough reserach on this before implementing such a rule?The man who proposed this is clueless about the logistics of the whole thing.. read more here

My main grouse is that this takes away what a meritous candidate has fought & worked hard for all his/her life.To lose out to somebody who is not as qualified, especially when the means are readily available to both, is just too de-moralising.
Ask me how i know...

reservation should not be just because of what you were born into.. it should be for the people who have the potential but not the means to achieve it.. that is when this will have value..

All this is going to do is create more vacant seats.. so the khadi weasels go ahead & make more seats.. how is this going to help.. this my friend means that to meet this 8,000 crore fund..you & I will pay more tax.. yes you & I who did not get through reservation.. why can't this instead be used to provide better infrastructure..

..& this is surely going to create a lot of unrest between the masses.. & some speak of social harmony..

How does this reservation even make sense.. is this like an eye for an eye?.. if yes..then what about in another 50 years.. will things reverse? & will every fifty years after that be a see-saw about who gets reservation..

What about all the vacant seats/posts that were marked for reservation? So many of these are under utilised.. isn't that like taking away the chance somebody had at a decent livelihood?
Some guy with merit could have made use of it & probably made ends meet & fed a family..
isn't that injustice?

the need of the hour is to better the education standards in government schools.. identify the ones with merit..& provide them with the means to go ahead in life..
not this farce of a solution..

is it any surprise that we still have brain drain?
how can somebody not go to greener shores where their merit is rewarded?
..where you don't have to listen to all the white lies about secularism?..about rights..

..& I just can't wait for the next elections.. I just hope this momentum carries through...
I can't help but lose faith in our system each day..
